Washington Women's Foundation began in 1995 when 116 women pooled their financial and intellectual resources to support and strengthen our community. Today, our membership has grown to include over 500 women from a variety of life experiences and perspectives, with our annual grantmaking totaling nearly $1 million.

Washington Women’s Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
President Beth McCaw and a small professional staff manage the Foundation’s work, including educational programs and grant making initiatives.
